911 to Bring Legend Status to Vietnam Festivals in UK

911 is an English pop boyband comprised of members Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable, and Spike Dawbarn. Founded in Glasgow in 1995, the band released their debut single “Night to Remember” in May 1996. The following year, their album The Journey achieved Gold certification by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).

911 subsequently released two more albums, Moving On and There It Is, both of which achieved Silver certification in 1998 and 1999 respectively. Their hit song “There It Is” also reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in January 1999, as a cover of “A Little Bit More”.

In their five years together, 911 recorded 10 UK top 10 singles, selling 10 million singles and six million albums worldwide. They enjoyed tremendous popularity in Southeast Asia, with their first two albums reaching number one.

Last year, the boyband made their first appearance in Vietnam at the HAY Glamping Music Festival 2022. They performed their many hit songs, including “I Do,” “The Day We Found Love,” and “All I Want is You.” On their return to Vietnam, the famous boyband 911 is expected to be a highlight at the UK Festivals, which are part of the activities commemorating 50 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the UK this year. The festivals will take place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hanoi on September 9-10 and at Le Loi Street in Ho Chi Minh City on September 16. Admission is free for the public.
