German Women of Vietnamese Origin Assist Survivors of Hanoi Apartment Blaze
A ceremony was held on September 27 to distribute over VND 112 million (USD 4,500) from the Vietnam Women’s Union in Germany to the victims of the tragic fire at Thanh Xuan district’s mini apartment. Khong Minh Thao, Chairman of Thanh Xuan District Fatherland Front Committee, expressed gratitude towards the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs for connecting overseas Vietnamese from numerous countries to provide assistance to the fire victims. Thao also extended appreciation to the Vietnamese Women’s Union in Germany for their support, assuring that the funds will promptly reach the victims through the district’s Fatherland Front.
