Da Nang Welcomes More Than 195,000 Int’l Visitors in January-February

The number of foreign tourists was up 49 times and domestic visitors, up 3.5 times. The city raked in VND4.37 trillion ($184.5 million) from the tourism sector, up 1.7 times from the same period last year, and up 21% as compared with the 2019 figure. Despite positive recovery signs, the local tourism sector has been still facing major challenges in terms of finance, human resources, and infrastructure. Last year, Da Nang lured 3.69 million visitors, of whom 483,000 were foreigners, and earned nearly VND8.9 trillion VND from the industry.
